Naturally Refined Coconut

Random Observations, 12/01/2011

-
- Is it me or the Knicks began to seriously and effectively defend since Melo said he did not want to play for a team that does not defend ?

- Kevin Love is absolutely on everybody's lips and I've always liked this player but it does not straightens you, you, a power forward (which differs, certainly, but not as much as he plays near the cerc ) rotates to 46.3%% of success in shooting? It does not yet play a lot against a (Yet happy) and he takes most of its shots (66.4%) in the first four and a half feet around the basket (" 15 feet) . Rather clever three-point (44.3% on three attempts per night), he covered by the Funds to a pale 49% in the area near the circle above. Must do better, right?

- is back James Harden (13.4 pts to 46.2% since December against 7.9 pts to 36.6% in October / November). Moreover, the more I think the more I tell myself that it is the kind of player who is interesting and which includes the full impact when he plays long ( Because it does not force much the game is somewhat "laid-back", as opposed to more traditional sixth man like Ben Gordon or Jamal Crawford, who machine-gunned when the ball falls into their hands). So, what it does on a reduced playing time (only 25.8 minutes per game) forces all the more my respect.

- Since it is permanently installed at station 3, Michael Beasley 'm getting more and more thought to Paul Pierce when he was younger. As Celtic at the time, he scored a lot, and dispatches her solo points between the attack large portions of the circle, the game midway and the three points. Agree?

- Same size (2.13 m and 2.11 m), same age (22 years), same number of years in the league (3 counting the current one), same context (a bit holder in a default team low) even tend to jump in all directions and heights improbable, an intake equivalent (9 pts to 55%, 8 rbs, 2 blks to the first, 60% 6 pts, 7 rbs, 1 blk for the second) and a reputation for player's intelligence a bit low-ceilinged Javal McGee and DeAndre Jordan had to pull the same card in the distribution profiles. Which one would you choose between the two?

- Corey Maggette faked us well last year by turning to 51.6% success for 19.8 points. And we like fools, we thought it would last (10.8 pts to 40.9% now) ..

- A great defense against the attacks galore and an offensive game that relies heavily on a cons and a phenomenal individual qualities of his or her best players is not the recipe of Team USA 2010 World Champion that the Heat is currently using this?

- If Shaq is the "Big Aristotle " Allen Iverson is Michelangelo. At least one angle. I'll let you know why with this very nice article Blog Basketman .
