Shannon Brown Is the new Trevor Ariza Lakers? Atomic

-
--- There are about ten days, shortly after separating "amicably" between Larry Brown and the Bobcats, BasketUSA had published a top 5 mistakes made by Michael Jordan, since he is the senior decision maker of the franchise in North Carolina . Interesting article and quite legitimate as His Airness is challenged in this role (a feeling perhaps a little more swollen than it should be seen that the Divine Bald is at the forefront of its hyper media and the fact that we all tend to look a fool's acts of leadership in terms of player he was, because ultimately the Most general managers and other decision makers have their own set of pots hanging from the belt), however, I would rate it difficult to transfer the error bobcat Shannon Brown to the Lakers in the company of Adam Morrison in exchange for Vladimir Radmanovic, this article class in 4th position in its ranking of Jordan's missed.

--- At the time, the back was far from trampoline regarded as valuable role player he is today in the first round draft pick by Cleveland in 2006 (25th position), after the D-League, took part as an extra in exchange larger than talented before being left by his team of destination summer, and then signed by Charlotte to fill the bench, Shannon Brown was one of those players who have enough quality to include a roster NBA but not enough to ask regularly LY feet on the floor. Moreover, BasketUSA did not give him much credit when the site announced the a transaction that took him to Los Angeles . His name is mentioned only in passing, the dispatch focusing primarily on Radmanovic and Morrisson. Brown was indeed an extra element, a player from the bench after virtually worthless. As to reinforce it, that article ended by concluding logically that the Lakers were losing out in this deal. Well and getting back into the situation at the time, we can not sticky this transfer in the array of errors from Michael Jordan. When the "Shannon Brown had the game to explode in Charlotte," which is put forth at the end of paragraph, it would be more likely Larry Brown's fault than Michael Jordan.

--- Personally, I would not blame the venerable coach, either. Despite obvious advantages (jump, speed, power, defense and shoot a little), I can understand that the flaws have kept away from the floor (rather dubious choice of shots, a questionable overall effectiveness, a profile of back in a body of leader ,...). By cons, in my opinion this is not a coincidence that the Lakers that he became a player account. Ducted as a racehorse, Brown has emerged as the perfect substitute for the Lakers when Derek Fisher had need someone to oppose a real resistance to the many leaders that the super athletic recites facing the NBA championship team throughout the season. Better yet, his offensive game rather cast for item 2 was perfectly suited to the California system that uses its leader as a shooting guard. Now things have changed a little for him because since the arrival of Steve Blake, the back does not play much in Item 1. However, the dunker of ALL was able to capitalize on its past performance to keep his job and his X-factor costume defender / scorer / energizer off the bench just as valuable (9.9 pts to 18.8 minutes) So now that it shows from the position 2 behind Bryant or when it is offset by 3.

--- Brown knew perfectly immersed in this opportunity (and do what it takes to keep his minutes to open up the floodgates of his energy to every match, advancing to shoot) but it responds perfectly to the maxim "The Right Man At The Right Place, At the right time", as is often the case in this league. There are a bunch of other situations or circumstances even (if Vujacic had confirmed its 2008 playoffs for example) in which he would have remained the player bench after he was first to arrive California.

--- This leads me to draw a parallel with former Laker Trevor Ariza. Like Brown, Ariza happened in the NBA with a bag full of qualifications (including athletic) offset by another full of flaws and was carted anonymously a franchise to another (New York, Orlando) before finding his hello in Los Angeles. Like Brown, the role he was given on the shores of the Pacific relied heavily on its qualities ("athleticism," defense then shoot later) and he avoided venturing into the gaps (the ability to hold responsibilities offensive selection of shots ,...). And like Brown, there shone providing valuable assistance in the conquest of 2009 title.

--- Shannon Brown and Trevor Ariza and are both "products" Laker system in the sense that it is the role they had in it that allowed them to maximize their potential, they were sublimated by the context in which their qualities were highlighted and weaknesses minimized. From there to brew a slightly more personal glory and become the best leader of a franchise and at worst a third option, Ariza has landed in Houston with this ambition well down in his mind. A year later he was transferred to New Orleans without causing much excitement (indirectly exchanged cons Courtney Lee). His elevation has not fallen as low as it was during his early years in the league but it is far from level one that has smoothed the hairs out of his last campaign purple and gold. Outside the pale of Phil Jackson, Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom, Ariza does much more than dreaming.

--- I do not see things be different for Brown (and in this he has been quite visionary in pursuing its lease with Los Angeles this summer when he could go to New York or elsewhere). Housed in a serious candidate for the title team where his responsibilities are targeted and limited, and where a bad game on his part does not jeopardize the chances of victory of his training, the old bobcat is precious and even praised as a factor X of a big engine. But in my opinion, another team it would be a Chris Douglas-Roberts or Brandon Rush (the highlights and more perhaps). Or a Tony Allen was a factor X a bit in the style of Brown (energy, defense and some offensive outbursts here and there) last year with Boston before taking the direction of Memphis and leave the viewer's attention lambda.

--- Positive value.Mon object here is not to say that Shannon Brown is overrated or belittle the impact of its contribution to the results of his team, just as the image of Ariza two years ago, the explosion is intrinsically linked to the Lakers and especially how they are used as nests and their profile in their game Besides, this is perhaps one of the things specific to large teams: Learn to bring out the role players that the team needs. Steve Kerr at of the dynasty chicagoanne Eddie House when he was in Boston, to Kendrick Perkins or Matt Bonner, and all these players have had a value in these great teams they have not been in another less well built or constructed differently. And conversely, all these big cars are not what they are now or were formerly without the presence of these frontline soldiers. Brown and Ariza perfectly illustrate the synergy (not to say "1 +1 = 3") that lavishes a good relationship between players and players pillars of homework. And as life is sometimes very top, this synergy reflects on each and "student" their level of play as is the case for Brown as it currently does and is more for Ariza.
